HG3129 During World War II, pilots carried aluminum framed Smith & Wesson and Colt Revolvers known as the Air Crewman. The popularity of the Air Weight series continued after the war, as veterans and civilians alike demanded and carried the popular Smith & Wesson Chief's Special Airweight, Centennial Airweight, and Bodyguard Airweights in .38 Special caliber from the 1950s onward, with increasing demand for stainless finished pocket guns. It was not until the Millennial Year, however, that Smith & Wesson introduced its first .357 Magnum Air Lite, weighing in at only 12 ounces empty. The company achieved this new level of a combination of light weight and Magnum power by designing an aluminum and scandium alloy frame fitted with a stainless flame shield on the underside of the frame top strap directly above the barrel's forcing cone. This, then, is the descendant of the 37 and 637 variants more than it is of the model 60. S&W Product Code is 663077, and the box is so marked. This is a non-catalogued limited law enforcement pistol that came to us through those channels. The most distinctive thing about this revolver is its 3 inch barrel. It is in mint condition in its original box with all its papers and its original fired brass case from 2010. The Product Code or SKU will not even show up on the Factory Website. This revolver has been fired more than the usual 3 rounds; we estimate 10 to 15 rounds, but it has never had a 4473 form executed on it, and it was in Smith & Wesson Corporate custody until we got it. We detect no more cylinder rotation marking than comes on its brand new mates. Specs are traditional single and double action revolver, 3 inch two-piece barrel with scandium alloy shroud holding a steel liner, black stainless 5 shot cylinder that holds 5 rounds of .38 Special and .357 Magnum ammunition interchangeably; transfer bar internal safety with Smith & Wesson patented internal hammer lock and two keys; Luminous XS Front Factory Night Sight and Fixed Notch Rear Sight; Hogue Bantam S&W Logo pliable rubber boot grip; .312 smooth combat MIM case colored trigger with .240 semi-target hammer of the same material; and most important, weight empty only 14.4 ounces. Buyer will receive the exact Special Edition M&P 360 in the photos. On the standard variant 163074, replacement price in our area is upwards of $800 apiece if a person can even find one. We're offering the 360 M&P in the photos, however, for only $ 659.00. Not transferable to civilians in California or District of Colombia.

Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
