This Colt Police Positive Special Revolver was manufactured in 1952, from its 621000 range serial number. It comes to us from its domicile in Southeastern Georgia. The Police Positive was one of the lightest and best carrying revolvers of the period. Manufacturer is Colt’s Mfg. Co Hartford, CT U.S.A. and so marked on the right side of the barrel. Left side barrel carries the model and caliber, Police Positive Special / .38 Special Ctg. Type is traditional single and double action revolver, small frame 6 shot and ancestor to the D Frame Cobras and Detective Specials. Construction is entirely blue steel, with never-blued hammer sides and period correct Franzite® white composite grips. Barrel is 4 inch blue, with ramped round blade front sight and frame integral fixed notch rear sight. Caliber is .38 Smith & Wesson Special, and this revolver was Not designed for +P ammunition. Cylinder capacity is 6 rounds. Weight empty is 22 1/2 ounces. Surface detractions are moderate, principally whitening on the cylinder edges and their flute edges. Elsewhere there are small amounts of finish freckling and edge whitening. We rate this Police Positive as Very Good, 75 percent vicinity by our estimate. Bore, cylinder chambers, and mechanism are all bright, tight, clean, and excellent. Lateral play to the cylinder is negligible with the trigger relaxed; with the trigger fully depressed, however, there is no lateral movement to the cylinder at all. We’re offering this very attractive, historic early Colt D Frame 38 Special for only $ 439.00.

Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
