The Smith-Corona Model 03A3 rifles are known to be the best of that model. It has a bore that is shiny, sharp and strong. I range tested this rifle and it shoots as good as any US battle rifle that I have ever shot, to include shooting US M1 Rifles for years. All markings indicate Pre-D-Day manufacture.
