The receiver is painstakingly engraved with a pointer on the right, a setter on the left, and a flushing pheasant on the bottom. These scenes are surrounded by foliate scroll which also covers the trigger guard, tang, and forend release lever. The stock is a warm amber tint peice of walnut with radiating bands of vivid dark brown counter swirls. There is perfectly cut checkering on the grip, forend and butt plate. The butt plate is outlined and protected by an engraved, perfectly fitted, border trim. The peice comes with a custom fitted, lined leather case with double corners and brass hardware and contains oil bottle, snap caps, brush, swab & patch holder. This beautiful case is protected by an additional canvas and leather travel case. The overall condition of the blue and wood is 99.9%. The gun is gorgeous.
