Extrapolation from Supica’s and Nahas’s Standard Catalog yields a date of roughly 1996 for this Model 65-5 transitional revolver, with some of the latest hammers and trigger with casehardened finish. This is a Carolina service revolver, because its box has state references. These are difficult to grade. The only conspicuous detractions to us are light scuffing on the cylinder surface. We consider that this revolver grades a strong Very Good, perhaps even low Excellent; the photos, however, should suffice for interested parties to judge finish grade for themselves. Blast effect to the frame topstrap underside directly above the forcing cone is very light, about one thousandth deep and extending no more than 1/3 of the width of the topstrap. The bore and cylinder chambers are excellent. Mechanism is excellent as well. On double action, the trigger pull is smooth and consistent, and the hammer travels an additional 10-12 degrees after the cylinder times into place. On single action, the hammer travels a full 20-25 degrees after cylinder times, and the single action pull is a very light and crisp 3 pounds. Michael’s grips are probably original issue, with moderate scuffing that affects perhaps 25 percent of their surface area. This is a very nice late pre-lock Model 65, and we’re offering it for only $ 289.95

Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
