This is a Third Generation and finger inlets on the grip frame. The 23 is the mid-sized Compact, concealable but more controllable than its smaller siblings. It was the original Pocket Rocket of the late 1980s. Barrel length is 3 3/4 inches; weight empty is just under 24 ounces; and the maximum thickness is 1 1/16 inch. It comes with a total of one ban period, Law Enforcement marked factory 13 shot magazine. Sights are original factory issue 3 dot night sights but with very weak remaining luminosity. Trigger pull is on the original setting of 5 pounds, double action only striker fired, of course. From its DAY serial number prefix, this Glock 23 was manufactured in March of 1999. Surface detractions are moderate, buffing to the upper frame areas, scouring on the right side and backstrap area, and some edge whitening to the slide. This Glock is in its original box with correct serial number. We rate it as Very Good, 75 percent vicinity; photos, at any rate, ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. It is Excellent mechanically, bore, chamber, and mechanism are all bright, clean, and excellent. We estimate it has been fired about 1000 rounds during its career, no rounds at all for a Glock.
