Mossberg’s original 800 series rifles earned our respect in the 1970s. Savaged upstaged them for a few years with their 110 series, but now Mossberg is back and better than ever. Here is what we call a Texas Mossberg, the model 100ATR bolt action with tough solid ADL synthetic stock, Weaver 51S and 36 Scope Mount Bases, and 22 inch barrel, chambered for the effective and plentiful .308 Winchester cartridge. We began stocking a few of these after hearing positive reviews from very serious and dedicated hunters from neighboring McNairy and Hardeman Counties here in West Tennessee. The Mossbergs have taken over as the best value in a quality high powered rifle on the market, beating even the 770 Remingtons. This one comes with standard 22 inch barrel, 4 + 1 internal magazine capacity; adjustable trigger; thumb safety; matte blue metal set in a factory Realtree Camo Synthetic all purpose stock. Weight is 7 1/2 pounds empty, well balanced with the center of gravity underneath the front of the chamber. To strike another competitive blow against the Savage, this is a true short action rifle. The Savage 110s, fine rifles though they are, are all long action. This Mossberg 100 ATR, all terrain rifle, like its Remington and Savage competitors, is still U.S. Made. Its LBA trigger system yields a crisp trigger pull, essential to accuracy, and it further one-ups Savage. This particular specimen was never out of factory custody until we got it; it is one of Mossberg’s showgirls for its sales showings. It comes in its factory re-box, with papers and cable lock and a factory Six Month service warranty. Surface detractions are minimal, no more than ordinary shelf wear that new rifles get being handled in retail stores like ours. All we detect are some tiny scuff marks on the stock, with operation buffing to the bolt surface. We rate it as Excellent and Unfired, perhaps even Near Mint in Box. Replacement pricing on this rifle is over $300 in our area. We’re offering the Texas 100ATR Mossberg in the photos, however, for only $ 289.00. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> $20 flat fee lower 48 states; $60 Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico, UPS Ground with full insurance coverage. Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
