The Ruger has a zipper case and extra finger rest for its only magazine; and the Ruger factory lock not only weighs more than Kel-Tec's lock; it weighs more than the LCP itself. The first LCPs, from 2007 until late 2008, came with two magazines, and now Ruger is following the inventing company, Kel-Tec, by only including one magazine. Here is what Ruger says about their Polymer framed .380, now in its fourth year of production: Ultra-light, compact carry pistols weigh only 9.4 ounces in Ruger's smallest pistol frame with a height of 3.6 inches and a width of just .82 inches.
