From one of our favorite Alabama law enforcement professionals comes this all U.S. Made Springfield Armory Custom Shop pistol, a Champion Model Comp PDP Loaded 1911A1, a variant manufactured only from 1993 until 1998, and it does not have the lock in its mainspring housing like its currently produced descendants. The PDP, Personal Defense Pistol series, was modeled after the FBI Hostage Rescue Teams’ 2000 contract pistols. Standard Features, Fjiestad’s blue book points out, includes hammer forged premium air-gauged barrel, front and rear cocking serrations, Bo-Mar type adjustable sights, extended thumb safety, tactical beavertail, flat mainspring housing, High Hand grip, lightweight match trigger, full length guide rod, and machine beveled magazine well. Since all of these were Custom Shop, their features varied. This one has stainless Government size frame with full 6 inch extended retractable-bushing guide rod, and matte stainless slide release and mainspring housing. Hammer is serrated Commander type. It is 3-slot compensator equipped with screw-attached and slotted partridge front sight. Note that the compensator attaches to a flared, bell-nose, Detonics type barrel. Grips are smooth-sided Pachmayr CG-45 with no palmswell features. Magazines are the original 8 shot stainless Springfield and an extra 8 shot stainless Colt Factory. Weight empty is a well balanced 40.8 ounces with the center of gravity at the trigger. Note the minimal slide contact against the barrel. From our knowledge of its owner and the condition of this pistol, we estimate it has been fired fewer than 300 rounds. Contact evidence on its surfaces are minimal, only faint amounts of whitening on sharp areas of the compensator and rear sight, and minimal scouring on the lower matte surfaces of the frame. We classify it as Excellent, since no more than 10 percent of its surfaces are affected by our estimate; photos, at any rate, ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. It is excellent mechanically; bore, chamber, and mechanism are all bright, clean, and excellent. Replacement pricing on Springfield Custom Pistols all range upwards of $1500 to $2000 apiece, and they are hard to come by. We’re offering this excellent pre-lock Springfield Armory Custom Shop PDP 1911A1, however, for only $ 939.00. Not transferable to civilians in California or D.C. on account of the absence of the lock. Not transferable to civilians in Massachusetts.

Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
