From a treasure trove we traded from a retired armorer, here is Ruger part # E-3, a trigger guard / trigger housing unit to fit the Security Six or GP-100 revolvers. It contains its E-38 and E-46 spring and plunger, entirely blue steel with only moderate holster wear. Ruger manuals show the same part number for the GP series as for the Speed- and Service-Six models; buyers, however, should consult with a competent gunsmith or armorer before installing. We are neither competent nor gunsmiths. We rate finish on this part as Very Good, since holster contact evidence is moderate and the bluing is strong.
