Manufacturer was Akkar Silah Sanayi Ltd. of Istanbul, Republic of Turkey. Importer was Samco Global Arms, Inc. / SGAI of Miami, the Charles Daly Importer from 2012 until 2015. From its 10 serial number prefix, this 300CY was manufactured in 2010, a pre-Daly. Action is double slide bar pump shotgun, Benelli Nova type. Construction is steel barrel, bolt, trigger, magazine assembly, levers, and internal parts, built into a light weight alloy receiver, with walnut stock and forend, and with polymer trigger housing assembly. Chambering is 20 gauge, 2 3/4 inch and 3 inch shells interchangeably. Barrel is 22 inch with muzzle threaded for standard Rem-choke tubes. Bore is standard diameter, non back bored, and chrome lined. Tube furnished is .608 diameter Modified, 3 slash marks. Sight system is .275 width serrated top, 6 post ventilated rib, that sits .19 inch above the barrel at the lug. Front sight is conventional brass bead that mates with the serrated receiver top. Magazine tube is 13 inch open end with spring retainer, holds 5 rounds of 2 3/4 inch or 4 rounds of 3 inch 20 gauge shells interchangeably, 5 + 1 fully loaded capacity without any magazine adapter. Operators of Italian shotguns and their clones often figure out how to rest a ghost round on the shell carrier. The .240 smooth faced trigger pulls single stage at 5 pounds vicinity with substantial felt creep but minimal overtravel. Safety is push button type for right handed shooter, behind the trigger, gunsmith reversible. Forend is semi beavertail with corn cob serrations. Buttstock has matching serrations. Length of pull is 12 5/8 inches from the trigger face to the end of the 3/4 inch recoil pad. Stock drop is standard 1 1/2 at comb and 2 3/8 inches at the heel with straight back no left or right handed cant. Stock has checkered surface laterals on the pistol grip. Weight empty is 5 pounds, 1 ounce, with center of gravity 1 inch behind the breech face. Finish is matte blued barrel and magazine tube, with flat black anodized receiver; black synthetic stock and forend, with black poly trigger guard; and with black carrier and bolt. Marking is electronically engraved on the barrel and inked on the receiver, with roll stamped serial number that usually affects the finish next to it. Surface detractions are negligible. We rate this 300CY as Excellent in Box, perhaps Near Mint, 95 percent vicinity by our estimate, but photos ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. Bore, chamber, threads, and mechanism are all bright and clean. We do not believe this shotgun was ever loaded or fired. It comes in its original box with protective papers and magazine protector.
