The normal factory code has been replaced by a stamped DP. While the meaning of the code is unknown there is speculation that the DP coded rifles were part of a Chinese military contract to Pakistan. Rifle was brought to us as part of a local estate. SKS appears to be in factory new condition. However, we are being conservative and grading the rifle excellent to like new condition. SKS is all matching numbers: receiver, bolt, bolt carrier, trigger guard, stock, and gas tube. No serial numbers are forced matched or lined out. Bore is like new. Stock has an exceptional original factory finish that seems to be common to these DP marked weapons. Stock has some handling marks. Metal blue quality is outstanding. SKS comes with original Chinese military SKS sling,owners manual,oiler and a cleaning kit located in the butt stock. Light import mark on the side of the receiver. Chinese SKS’s have not been imported since President Clinton banned their importation in 1994. Examples in this condition are getting harder to find.
