This is the Taurus Judge, numbered model 4510 all blue finish steel frame with 6 inch barrel and 2 1/2 inch cylinder chambers. This is the most attractive of the Judge series revolvers, and it is pleasant to handle, not nose heavy. Cylinder is 2 5/8 inches long, and the revolver measures 10 inches overall. The nominal caliber, of course, is .45 Colt, and the bore is indeed rifled as required by the NFA Act of 1933. The forte of this revolver comes with its ability to chamber 2 1/2 inch .410 shotshells. From our experience, the big three US Made shells work flawlessly, Remington, Federal, and Winchester; while there have been some problems with extracting Italian made shells. This revolver is 5 round capacity; 39 ounces empty. It has highly pliable factory ribbed rubber grips, fixed notch rear sight with high-viz Ray-bar type fiber optic front sight. Note the case colored hammer and trigger, floating firing pin and MIM smooth combat trigger. Taurus factory number is 2-441061T. All Tauruses come with transfer bar safety and Taurus's patented hammer lock with two keys.
