Shotgun - Grade B - Remington Ordnance 30 inch steel barrels - fixed chokes - ejectors - boxlock - double triggers - straight stock - Purdey forend snap. Remington Ordnance 30 inch blued barrels have a solid rib bead sight - ejectors - REMINGTON ARMS CO. ILION, N.Y. U.S.A. stamped on the top center of the solid rib - ORDNANCE stamped on the top side of each barrel - PROOF MARKS are stamped on the bottom of each barrel - B and (Serial Number) 115909 stamped on the bottom side of right barrel - 37 stamped directly above 070 on the bottom side of the barrels - barrels are in great shape - original bluing - top and bottom solid ribs - inside of barrels look clean and bright. The forend is original - rich dark wood - hand checkered - appears nickel steel end caps with scroll and line engraving on each end cap - front forend release button - PATENTED OCTOBER 30th 1894 and Serial No. 155909 stamped in the metal on bottom side of foreend - end caps fit tight to the wood - no splits or damage in the wood. Receiver appears to be nickel steel - scroll and line engraving on all sides of receiver, screws, trigger guard, safety switch and barrel release arm - REMINGTON ARMS CO. stamped on both sides of receiver surounded by scroll work - Serial No. 155909 stamped in large numbers on the bottom side of receiver pistol grip - SAFE engraved in the receiver just above the safety switch - proof marks appear under the barrel release arm - B and (Serial number) 115909 stamped the metal on the top of the receiver where barrels are removed. Hard wood straight line stock fits tight to receiver - appears oil type finish in great shape - rounded knob on the stock - recoil pad looks modern and may have replaced original butt pad. Gun overall is in great shape - locks up tight - parts fit tight - no major scars, marks, rust or damage - the gun does fire with the Safe on or off is its only flaw we can find.
