This pistol is not C&R Eligible. Here is an excellent quality descendant or knock-off of the German Made Sig P226 pistol, the CZ-99 manufactured in Yugoslavia by Crvena Zastava. Type is traditional double action semi-auto with ambidextrous decocking lever that also doubles as a slide release lever. Caliber is 9mm Luger, 9mm Parabellum, call it what you will, THE 9mm. Barrel is 4 1/8 inch bright chrome plated; sights are dovetailed in three dot combat; steel serrated slide with lightweight anodized alloy grip frame; serrated fact combat trigger and short conventional spur hammer. From a resting hammer position, first shot is a long pull double action; and subsequent shots are single action. The single action pull is two stage, and the firing position is a very nice 3 pound vicinity with minimal felt creep. Disassembly is easy and very similar to the Sig parent pistol with a frame mounted disassembly lever on the left side. Height is 5 5/8 inches from the magazine floorplate to the top of the rear sight; 7 3/8 inch overall length from the slide muzzle to the grip frame strut; slide thickness 1.058 inches; frame thickness .952 inches. Weight empty with magazine in battery is 34.6 ounces. Magazines for these CZ-99 Pistols were easily enough obtained, the same magazine fits the EAA EZ-9 Pistols. Magazines are brand new post ban 15 round, not legal for civilians in California, Chicago, D.C., Hawaii, Massachusetts, New York, or Puerto Rico. Ten round magazines are still in production from European American Armory. Surface detractions are moderate, mostly edge whitening from holster contact and hand contact whitening fore and aft on the grip section of the grip frame. We rate it as Very Good, 75 to 80 percent vicinity; photos, at any rate, ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. Importer Stamp for PW Arms is on the left slide flat above the disassembly lever. It is excellent mechanically; bore, chamber, and mechanism are all bright, clean, and excellent. This pistol was first introduced in 1989, and has seen action throughout Europe and the Middle East. It is presently standard issue for the Iraqi Army. This specimen made its way into the Land of Israel, and promptly got confiscated by the Israeli Police in Jerusalem along with fewer than a dozen of its mates. Serial number is around 100,000 range, and we estimate it was manufactured in 1992. These are good pistols. We’re offering the CZ-99 in the photo for only $ 289.00. Not transferable to civilians in California, District of Colombia, or Massachusetts. For buyers in jurisdictions where 15 round magazines are restricted, $280 freight paid but no magazine. Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
