Very nice Parker 12 ga. hammered coach gun. Mfg'd late 1880s or very early 1890s on #2 frame. 19" bbls professionally cut down during era as evidenced by signs of age commensurative with the rest of the piece. Unknown if factory or frontier gunsmith. Nice even brown patina overall with smooth metal and good markings. Mechanically exlnt with very tight lock-up. Slight bore pitting typical for black powder arm of this era, but overall VG bore. Wood very good with absolutely no cracks and commensurate handling wear with slight checkering remaining with original oil finish. Parker Bros. butt plate. All original. No repairs or replacement parts. No buggered screws. All original finish on metal and wood throughout. Overall antique FINE condition. A nice sound old west work gun. A great collector piece. Antique blackpowder, therefore shooting not recommended. No FFL required. Email request for more pics.
