At the height of the SKS sales volume in 1993, the little rifles got down in the $80 apiece range, and we sold over 1200 of them out of our little store that year alone. Our local customers preferred the KSI, K-Sports, Pomona California, variants over all others. This is one that we sold locally during that period. It has only moderate surface wear, occasional pecks on the stock. Bluing is original and strong throughtout. We rate this SKS as a strong Very Good, perhaps even Excellent, specimen, since no more than 15 percent of its surfaces show use or handling evidence. Lots of the SKS rifles had stock pecks when they were new. Barrel length is 20 inches blue steel with original 10 shot box magazine. Bore is chrome lined, and the bore, chamber, and mechanism are all bright, clean, and excellent. Magazine, trigger guard group, and stock cartouches all have the correct matching numbers. Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
