Still in gobs of Cosmoline, for ship board use. Built at Enfield Lock in 1917. This British No1 MkIII is a Royal British Navy "Line Thrower", used to fire the initial line from ship to ship, in order to connect two ships. Larger lines were hauled over, using the initial light line, fired by this rifle. The rifle bears lots of British proofs and property markings, along with the large "LT" on the stock, indicating Line Thrower use. Not often seen and a rare addition to any military arms collection. More photos and details, upon request.
Buyer pays $29 shipping to the lower 48 states. California okay. Hawaii and Alaska pay actual weighed shipping cost.
