We have the factory order card on the gun and all features of this gun match the card precisely, with 75% factory case color remaining on the receiver, about 93% factory blue on the barrels, mirror perfect bores, perfect screws, 30% case color on the trigger guard, and the wood retaining nearly all the factory original finish. The card even documents the special order 2 ¾” chambers. The factory straight gripped butt stock is beautifully figured French walnut with good shooting dimensions (unlike the ones sold at the recent Julia’s ) no cracks or repairs, original factory Silvers pad, and strong factory original checkering. With only 152 total production, the Fox XE 20 gauge is truly a rare gun, and has all the features today’s shooter/collector wants to find in an investment quality double gun; solid unmolested original condition, great shooting dimensions, 26” IC/M #4 weight barrels (Fox’s lightest), with the gun weighing 5lbs. 11oz. and handling dynamics that makes it seem to float to your shoulder.
