Dated 1864on lock. Marked with DC (Dominion of Canada) marking on butt, and spurious Confederate markings on buttplate. Metal parts have a medium patina overall with minimal scattered pitting. Missing lower sling swivel, firing pin, ramrod, and top piece off of rear sight ladder. Stock was shortened to about 5" in front of the lower barrel band, shows average wear and use with handling marks and a couple minor abrasions.
