Description: Winchester Model 1890 take-down slide action rifle, 24” octagon barrel, chambered for .22 short. The serial number is 273366, manufactured in 1906. It is in super nice condition, all correct & original with no alterations, no extra holes, no buggered screws, no refinishing, no touch-ups, just some honest wear & aging. The barrel corners are still pretty sharp & all stampings are clearly legible. The barrel shows very little bluing loss, restricted to the high spots. No issues and less than expected handling marks than normally found on a 107 year old rifle. The stocks are Walnut and in very good condition. There are NO cracks or repairs, just minor handling marks. The wood to metal fit is factory and untouched. The rifle loads, cycles, & ejects flawlessly & the action is crisp & tight. The bore is in very good condition with strong rifling with a little frosting. More pictures available so you know exactly what you are buying, nothing hidden & NO surprises.
