Parent revolver for these grips has a serial number range of 372000. That indicates it was manufactured some time in the late 1920s or 1930s. Parent revolver is a Third Model Smith & Wesson .32 Hand Ejector. These are Factory Smith & Wesson, genuine Mother-of-Pearl Grips. Surface detractions are moderate, as the photos show. There is a hairline crack with no separation on the right panel’s butt area, and a small surface flake on the top of the left panel. Screw is original with moderate stress to its slot. These grips will only fit 32 Hand Ejector Smith & Wessons with Round Butt Grip Frames, manufactured from circa 1905 until World War II. The grip frame is shorter than later production Chief’s Special, Kit Gun, and Regulation Police, pre-models 30, 31, 33, 34, and 36, or any of their type, will not work. One photo shows these grips installed on a current production model 442 Centennial grip frame with about 1/4 inch of grip frame extending beyond the grip panel’s butt edge. They will not fit a square butt Hand Ejector, or any other revolver than the Smith & Wesson 32 Hand Ejector.
