Photos show the first new specimen of the Nickel Finish Walther PPKS pistol chambered in .22 Long Rifle caliber that we’ve received in a decade or so. All of us in Tennessee are very happy over the Walther Plant’s relocation in our neighboring State of Arkansas, at Fort Smith, production facility for this pistol. Features of the PPK and PPK-S include a firing pin safety, manual safety with decocking function, double action and single action trigger and extended beaver tail grip frame strut. Type is traditional double- and single-action semi-auto, long smooth double action pull on the first shot from a resting hammer position, and then, on our photo specimen, a stiff but crisp 6 1/2 pound single action trigger pull with minimal felt creep on subsequent shots until the shooter chooses to end the firing session by engaging the main safety which decocks the pistol. Caliber is .22 Long Rifle. This new PPKS .22 comes with one P22 style 7 shot magazine, 7+1 capacity. Grips are classic semi-gloss checkered black synthetic with Walther banner. Construction is almost entirely alloy, with steel hammer, safety lever and internal parts. Finish is Satin Nickel. Barrel is 3.35 inch, P22 style with steel liner housed in an alloy casing. Sights are black pinned in blade front, and dovetailed, screw secured rear, fixed or drift adjustable for windage only. Weight empty is 23 ounces, only 1/2 ounce heavier than the all steel .380 ounces. Replacement price on the old Interarms PP series .22s often exceeds $1,000 apiece. They were all steel construction; this one, however, is not so constructed. We suspect it has a little zinc in it. We’re offering the Fort Smith Walther PPKS .22 in the photos, or one of its identical mates, for only $ 419.00. Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
