Description: This is a Belgian Browning Superposed Grade 1 Standard Weight in 410 gauge with 3” chambers, which I see in catalogs was also called the Hunting Model. It has 28” barrels and a 13” length stock including a Browning recoil pad. The chokes are ** (modified) and **- (improved cylinder) and the gun was made in 1969. I bought it in about 2005 and have since used it several times for quail, rabbit and dove hunting. I have shot it about 75 times, it had been shot when I bought it, and it is broken in but still very tight and in nice shape. The barrel has a vent rib with a front ivory bead and a silver mid bead. The stock and forearm are dark walnut, in perfect shape, and look fantastic. There is no trace of corrosion anywhere on the gun including no corrosion around the wood, which I am told means it has no salt wood problem. The blueing on the barrels shows the slightest wear at the tip of the forend, because this gun disassembles by sliding the forend forward. This is a nice feature because there is no chance of losing the forend in the woods, which can occur with most other double barrel designs. The stock grain is exceptional, the checkering is perfect, and the bores are pristine. On my scale the gun weighs about 6.4 pounds. The gun will be shipped in an aluminum Ziegel Engineering case made in the USA as shown in the photos, with foam slit to tightly grasp the barrels, and taped shut with heavy shrink wrap tape. The case has had many luggage stickers and address labels scraped off of it and is scratched from travel, but it still works great for protecting guns. The package will include a signed copy of my driver’s license and an original bill of sale made out to the FFL. I accept payment only by check or money order. I ship only by US Mail to FFL holders after I receive cleared funds and a signed copy of the FFL license. Free shipping to the lower 48 states including insurance for the amount of your purchase price, all other states must pay for shipping and insurance at my cost with no markup. No shipping outside of the US. Three day returns allowed with return shipping insured for the purchase price at your expense. I don’t think anyone who knows these guns will regret buying this one. I would not be selling it except my daughter needs a new piano. Good luck and thanks for your interest.
