The grips on this Smith & Wesson .357 Combat Magnum are original and correctly dated from President Reagans’ Election Year of 1980. They were the only area that showed wear on this 19’s package, and we had to have them professionally refinished. Bronzing to the logos comes from the refinishing process. All other equipment is original and in original condition. This revolver comes to us from one of our distinguished two-career Tennessee Veterans. Its owner served a full career in the United States Navy, then, upon retirement from that, assisted several agencies in Bay County Florida Law Enforcement for a number of years, training both lawmen and civilian workers. This was his dress revolver. Surface wear is minimal to its factory nickel finish, only faint dulling here and there with no peeling or spotting whatsoever. Only at one place on the right side of the .265 serrated service-width hammer is there a small dark spot. Trigger is also color casehardened, .315 service serrated face. The Edges of the White Outline adjustable rear sight show faint amounts of whitening. Front sight on this 4 inch 19 is original Red Ramp. We rate this 19-4 as Excellent, since no more than 10 percent of its finish is affected by any detractions in our estimate. Photos, at any rate, should suffice for prospective owners to judge finish grade for themselves. This Bangor Punta era, Pinned-Barrel, recessed/counterbored-cylinder Combat Magnum is Excellent mechanically. Bore, cylinder chambers and mechanism are all bright, clean, and excellent. Blast effect to the under side of the frame top strap directly above the barrel’s forcing cone is minimal, only a faint etchy dark line that traverses about 80 percent of the width of the top strap with no visible cutting. Double action trigger pull is very smooth and consistent, and the hammer travels an additional 5 to 10 degrees on all six positions after the cylinder times into place on double action. On single action, the hammer travels a full 25 to 30 degrees on all six after the cylinder times, and single action trigger pull measures a very crisp 3 1/2 pounds. Lateral play to the cylinder is minimal with the trigger relaxed, and negligible with the trigger fully depressed. Cylinder face to forcing cone gap is an above average .010, but that fact combined with the absence of blast effect indicates further how little this 19 has been fired, certainly not with many Magnum rounds. We’re offering this attractive, collectable and eminently serviceable Smith & Wesson 4 inch 19-4 Nickel for only $ 579.95.

Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
