Caliber is .223/5.56. Serial number 901SA015, manufactured 1983. This is the commercial semi-auto version of the AUG bullpup rifle designed for the Austrian Military in 1977. The serial number appears on the receiver, barrel and bolt carrier. Barrel is also marked with proof marks and date code STR, indicating 1983. The barrel is 16 inches. We believe it was cut at some point from the original 20 inches. This AUG has a 1.5x Swarovski integral scope with the 1st generation "circle of death" aka "donut of death"reticle, plus back-up open sights on top. Green polymer stock with folding pistol grip. The right side of the stock is marked "Steyr-Daimler-Puch AG Austria" "AUG/SA". Barrel is stamped "Interarms alex, va". This rifle is in excellent used condition. There are some minor handling marks and scuffs on the stock. Metal has some wear near the charging handle and light handling marks. Bore is bright like new. Optic is clear.
