This ad is for the pictured 12 Gauge L.C. Smith Featherweight Shotgun. This is being advertised as a gunsmith special due to the fact that it needs a bit of repair. The gun has 30 inch barrels with extractors. The bores are bright but they do have some light to moderate pitting. The barrels lock up very tight. One item in need of attention is the safety. The left trigger is OK but the right trigger will fire when the gun is on safe. It is just off by a hair and a wee bit of work should correct this. The second item in need of repair is the stock. As you can see it has some cracks coming from the back end of the lock plates. It also has a chip out of the lower right finger where it meets the receiver. The wood seems sound but is quite dark in the area of the grip. It has been fitted many years ago with a Western Field Pad. The length of pull is 14 and 1/4 as pictured. You can see this gun has a fair amount of original case coloring left. The barrel blue is about 80 Per-Cent with some spotting and thinning. Overall this is a decent gun that needs a little TLC. There is not much more I can add but to say take a close look at the pictures to see just how nice this gun is. This is a modern gun under the law and will require an FFL to be shipped.
