This listing is for the exact pistol in the photos. This CZ50 pistol came surplus from Ostrava Municipal Police in the Czech Republic, and we robbed some of its parts to make another pistol work. Its barrel, disassembly block and lever, trigger, safety-decocker, and slide stop mechanism are all good and functional. Hammer is intact, along with the strut and spring, but the hammer will not stand. Importer of record was PW Arms of Redmond, WA and its slide was so stamped. The CZ-50, or VZ-50 in Czech terminology, is a descendant of the Wartime CZ-27, very close kin in appearance, construction, and even quality to the Walther PPK/S. This fine little pistol is all steel, traditional double- and single-action with main lever safety. The main safety serves as a decocker, when the hammer is right. Overall extreme length is 6 5/8 inches, from the muzzle to the back of the upper grip frame. Trigger is serrated face .312 width, with .295 serrated Commander / PPK Style hammer. Barrel is 3 1/2 inch with 1:10 conventional rifling. Surface detractions are moderate, with freckling and brown toning on the front and back strap of the grip frame. We rate this CZ-70 as Good, 70 percent vicinity by our estimate; photos, however, ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. Bore, chamber, and mechanism are all bright and clean. Replacement pricing on current production CZ-USA Pistols is always $400 - $ 500 range.
