HG3562 As the Kahr Arms ads in the American Rifleman strongly suggest, slim indeed is sexy nowadays in the handgun market. This new Taurus reminds us more of the Walther PPF more than any other pistol, and the Walther is probably the unintentional progenitor of this Taurus. A combination of two things set this Taurus apart: its 0.95 inch thinness and its lever safety. No one else offers that combination to our knowledge. Here is the factory's summary of its strong points: Elegant in blue and stainless this small pistol can easily fit under a cummerbund or pair of bibs. Cool, neat and ready to go the Taurus Slim is the ideal companion for years to come. The Model 709, available in 9mm, features a double action, 8+1 or 9+1 shot capacity and fixed sights. Lean and lightweight in design, the pistol weighs just 19 ounces, measures a mere six inches long and is less than an inch thick. Standard features for the 709 Series include a visual loaded chamber indicator, and the unique Taurus Security System that allows users to securely lock the gun using an inconspicuous key lock. As the photo shows, it comes with a total of two steel bodied magazines. This PT-709 Slim comes to us from one of our favorite Carolinans, and he isn’t worried about sexy anyway; traded for one of our California Department of Corrections pistols to get it back to the East Coast. It is in its original box with all its papers, lock keys, and both magazines. Kenneth even put a Hogue Handall on it; and its only surface detraction is negligible, a faint white spot or two on the left edge of the slide above the word Slim. From our knowledge of its owner, it has been fired fewer than 50 rounds. We rate it as Near Mint in Box, but photos ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. It is Excellent mechanically; bore, chamber, and mechanism are all bright, clean, and excellent. The Walther, by the way, prices out at upwards of $700.00 in our area. Own this fine little Carolina Taurus, factory order number 1-709031, the exact one in the photos for only $ 339.00. Not transferable to civilians in California, D.C., Massachusetts, or New York City.

We Buy, Sell, or Trade. Always have.
Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
