It's a very original authentic example of a Civil War used 1860 Army antique revolver. The back strap (grips strap) serial number is the only thing on the gun that is not original to when it left Colt in 1862, however, it is a military back strap dated to 1861 and has probably been on the gun from the time it saw service in the Civil War, so it was probably swapped in the field during the war which was common. The grips are military cartouched and the rest of the gun is martially inspected. Overall, it is a solid example of an original, authentic, antique 1860 Army that was, without a doubt, used in the war. Realistically, a good retail value on this gun would be priced at
