Hand-selected by one of Dakota's major distributors for his personal collection, serial number 3220 remains unfired. Special features of this scaled dangerous game rifle include a 23-inch sporter weight barrel, ramp front sight with flip-up night bead, banded sling swivel stud, island express rear sight with notched express blade (windage adjustable), full-length claw extractor for true controlled-round feeding, three position wing safety, cloverleaf tang, integral bolt release and a drop box magazine with inside-the-bow floorplate release. Stocked in a superb AAA-walnut blank, accents include an ebony forend tip, wrap-around borderless checkering, steel grip cap, scalloped cheekpiece with shadow line and an inletted (Howell-type) sling swivel stud. DIMENSIONS: Weight is 8.4 pounds and length-of-pull is 13.6 inches. CONDITION: New and unfired. Two minor rack impressions appear in the stock on either side of the barrel just below the forend tip. ACCURACY: Dated 12/3/07, the included factory test target shows three shots with a center-to-center spread of .790-inch from 180-grain Federal Power Shok Speer HotCor S.P. ammunition at a distance of 100 yards.
