NO NYC. Here is an excellent quality replica of a very important battle instrument. This is the bayonet for the 1853 British Enfield Military Rifle that figured so prominently in the American Civil War. This specimen fought at the Battle of Shiloh. Not the original 1862 battle, but the 150th Anniversary reenactment in April of 2012. Its parent Euroarms Enfield was manufactured in 2010, from its CF Italian Date Code. Unlike many muzzleloaders in our neighborhood, this one’s Confederate Camp owner kept it clean. Its only surface detractions are moderate brown freckling; and the bayonet, of course, is supposed to be brown. Manufacturer is Euroarms d’Italia, and Importer is affiliate Euroarms USA. This bayonet will fit most Pedersoli, Armi San Marco / Navy Arms, and Euro Arms Enfield rifles in .58 Caliber. It will not fit an FIE Zouave; will not fit a Thompson/Center Hawken; and will not fit the antenna of a 1957 Pink Cadillac, although it might make a great rear view mirror hanging accessory for Elvis’s car. It will only fit Exact Replicas, or Originals, of the 1853 and 1858 Enfield and US Springfield Rifles. Construction is greay or white steel; and the scabbard assembly is genuine black leather with brass hardware. We rate it as all as Excellent Condition, 90 percent vicinity by our estimate; photos, at any rate, ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves.
