Condition: Original three-screw model, not modified for the transfer-bar safety. Made in 1959, this model pre-dates the "Old Model" Single-Six! Very collectible. Shows some normal handling marks and the bluing has been touched up here and there, but it has NOT been re-finished.
Details, Etc: Frame is marked "Win. .22 RF Mag. Cal." identifying this as a Single Six Magnum, many of which came with a Long Rifle cylinder as a kit. Somewhere in its' history this gun's Magnum cylinder was lost, but the Long Rifle cylinder is marked with the last three digits of the Serial Number so this LR cylinder is from the original kit. Lock-up is very tight, indicating minimal use. Front sight has a brass bead attached on top edge. VERY low Serial Number 300xxx is under 500, and indicates 1959 as the year of manufacture, the inaugural year of production of the Single-Six Magnum.
