Here is a very attractive set of factory grips to fit any Smith & Wesson full size model 39 or 39-2 pistol without ambidextrous safety. It will also fit some variants of the model 439, 539, and 639; but only the ones that have a safety lever on the left side of the slide for a right handed shooter. These panels will not work for a 439, 539, or 639 that has an ambidextrous safety lever on the right side of its slide. They will not work for a model 59, or a model 659. They Will Not work on the third generation 39 series pistols; Will Not Work on a 3904 or 3906. They will only fit models 39, 39-1, 39-2, 439, 539, and 639 with single side safety lever. Manufacturer, of course, is Smith & Wesson of Springfield, Massachusetts. Construction is Brazilian Goncalo Alves wood. Finish is cut checkered gloss finish with nickel plated factory logo shields. Surface detractions are moderate on this set, principally occasional flattening to some of the checkering and scouring on the upper areas from holster and belt contact. We rate them as Very Good Condition, 80 to 85 percent vicinity by our estimate; but photos ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. The 639 Adjustable partially showing in some of our photos is not included. Its purpose is to show the absence of an ambidextrous safety lever. Screws are not included. These grips were manufactured in the mid 1980s, before production of the Third Generation Autos began in 1988. Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
