This is a beautiful little Anschutz 1740D chambered in .222 Remington. I put a Zeiss 4.5x14 44mm scope on it to keep the rifle all Teutonic. There are only 50 rounds through it to start on load development. I bought the rifle in 2002 for prairie dog shooting and just never seemed to make the trip west. Now my prairie dog team is whittled away by age and death. So I am selling this rifle and others. This rifle is one of forty made according to Anschutz (see enclosed documentation) and the addition of the Zeiss scope makes it unique - the only one like it. Anschutz test fires the rifle before shipping and the test target is enclosed as well. Very impressive! I am including two extra magazines, the RCBS dies, and 1000 cases in J&J ammo boxes. 800 are polished, full-length sized, primed and ready for reloading. There are 150 loaded and ready to shoot and 50 fired cases. I'll throw in 1000 bullets of your choice and a couple pounds of your favorite powder.
I prefer a cashier's check but I'll consider a personal check if you don't mind waiting until the check has cleared.
I'll ship the rifle to your FFL, and the rest of the stuff, the brass, the dies and the magazines directly to you. You can reimburse me by personal check.
