This well made pistol was probably made in the 1930's or 40's for the Argentine Army. Many were sold to other countries and used during WW2. Unlike true 1911's, it does not have a grip safety, but does have a manual thumb safety. The finish is worn and has replacement rosewood grips(the old grips are to be included). The pistol works flawlessly and is as accurate as my eyes will let it be. I'm including an old Safariland holster that I carried it in for about 16 years, which allows you to carry it cocked and locked with the strap between the hammer and firing pin.
