Top of barrel states:HOOD'S F.A.Co. ENGRAVED SPUR TRIGGER PATENTED 1875. This spur trigger in .22 short caliber functions good, and has a 3" octagonal barrel with maybe 50% original nickle, with the remainder a brown surface patina, with some areas of roughness from age! Has scarce ebony grips not usually found on early revolvers. The left grip has the back edge missing, and the right grips is very good.Bore has visible roughness, with patches of roughness, and some pitting.
