The wood and metal are sound. The leather sling is supple and durable. The 10 cartridges with two stripper clips are packed in the original 1938 marked box, with double eagle head stamp. The rifle has "K" markings on a number of parts. Inspector "K"? Atop the barrel is a unit marking "W 36". Also on the barrel is neatly stamped, "VDF" inside a box. The receiver is marked with the double headed eagle,over "STEYR", over "M.95". More details and close up photos upon request. I will part out the bayonet and ammo.
