I wouldn't sell it if I didn't have to pay for college tuition. If you fix this gun up it can be worth a lot more than I am asking for. I do not have the time or funds to do so and my education is much more important to me. This is a great gun that has been used for hunting since my great grandfather bought it. There is expected wear and tear but still works perfectly without a spot of rust due to regular cleaning. The shoulder pad is not original and the iron sights were taken off for a scope and scope mount. Pins were put in the stock to protect it from cracking. This gun is worth more because it was made during the transition period after the war. It is a super grade so that means it is higher quality material. I hope this gun lands in the right hands because it is a solid rifle that is highly sought after.
