Middle Mid Eastern Blunderbuss Flintlock Pistol
This is an antique Middle Eastern flintlock blunderbuss that is 18-1/2" long overall with a 9 1/2" barrel with unique Middle eastern workmanship. The time period is covers the 18th Century and continued into 19th century in the Middle East. The barrel starts at the breech at 1-1/4" diameter narrowing to a little over an inch at mid-point and then and flares to 1-3/4" at the muzzle. The butt plate, lock side plate, trigger guard, ramrod guides, end cap, and ramrod tip are brass and all show a nice age patina. The barrel is etched with continues coverage of what appears to be Arabic floral designs. The cock, trigger and flock mechanisms all work perfectly. Arabic style hooked stock with mother of pearl leaf shaped inlays featured on the sides of the buttstock. left stock flat and underside of the forearm (over 100 inlays total). An unusual mid-eastern piece in that the engraving, inlays and brass pin coverage is so extensive and the workmanship is superior to that usually found. The wood has an even, dark color with lighter grains of wood showing. The wood is very solid without cracks or damage. A FFL license is not required. The cost of shipping and insurance is $28.00.

Payment options: Payment made using USPS Money Orders will ship as soon as payment and required paperwork arrives. Due to recent increased use of Counterfeit Cashier’s Checks, these payments will be held for bank clearance prior to shipping. Personal and business checks are also gladly accepted, however may delay shipping 2 weeks for bank clearance (We know the good checks clear faster, however, bank are sometimes slow in notification of a returned check).
