I was tempted to list it as fired but as new. however there are some small holster rubs. Other than that, she's a beauty. The matching serial number on the .32/.20 is 223381 which indicates a 1906 manufacture date. No serial # on the cylinder, which is correct because Colt stopped stamping the cylinder after about #120000.Rampart Colt hard rubber ( brownish black) The barrel is 4 3/4". As the pictures show everything is nice and crisp and clear. Standard 2 line marking 1871, 1872, 1875. About serial # 144000 Colt introduced the transverse spring- loaded catch for the cylinder to replace the cylinder pin retaining screw.By 1906 Colt had stated their smokeless powder guarantee. There is no pitting/ beautiful pronounced rifling. Very bight bores. Super clean. As an aside I was there in 1966 ( exactly 60 years after manufacture) when this gun was purchased from a retiring Postmaster in Cheyenne WY. I won't tell you here what it was bought for then.Maybe it's time for this one filled with memories for me to find another nice new home.
