Talk about reach out and touch someone, Wow!! This gun is one excellent weapon. The barrel from the end of the barrel to the back of the reciever is 35". And the gun is 48" long overall. It was hitting centermass on the target at 800' and I am a lousy shot but this gun makes you good. I have done the mod for the bolt and the scope mount and the custom trigger and the custom polymer stock and 4x16-40 Bushnell optics. Take a look at a 7.62x54R Round. You can tell that bullet is made for one thing SNIPING! What can I say it is an excellent weapon. Good hunting rifle all a round gun. It would take down a Moose or a Bear. It holds 5 rounds in an internal storage clip and spring. The barrel has a manufacture date of 1944 and it was packed in about a 1/4 in of cosmolene it comes with all stock items, bayonett, and cleaning kit.
