Pre-64 M-70 .22 Hornet in excellent condition - left the factory in 1950. There is a small ding on the left side of the forearm, and it appears that the left side of the receiver was drilled for a side mount and then pluged with proper screws. The scope base screws on the top of the receiver do not look like they were ever removed. Other than the above, I would rate the gun as excellent. Asking price is $2,250, and seller will pay shipping to an FFL only. Were it not for the above stock blem and receiver taps - the gun would be priced @ $3,000.
