Colt Pocket Police, 2nd Generation Guns > Pistols > Colt Percussion Revolver - Modern
Description: All, for your consideration, one second generation Colt Pocket Police cap & ball pistol, serial number 51869, model number F1500. I am the original purchaser of this pistol and the 1980 bill of sale shall go to the buyer. The pistol is as new with the exception of the paw trace on the cylinder. I did fire it once over 30 years ago, cleaned it and put it up. It has always been kept in a centrally heated/cooled environment, smoke and pet free home. The pistol had a 5 ½ inch barrel and is a five shot, 36 caliber, percussion piece with a blued finish. The frame, loading lever and bullet rammer are color casehardened. The trigger guard and backstrap are silver plated; the grip is one piece walnut. It shall be shipped in its original box (it’s a little scruffy) with all of the Colt brochures and manual. It is not considered a firearm by Federal authorities. It is the responsibility of the Buyer to ensure they comply with local and state ordinances regarding cap & ball guns where more stringent. Should it be necessary, the pistol can be shipped to your FFL or C&R holder; any additional expense associated with this activity is to the buyer’s account. No returns unless the pistol is found to have been misrepresented. Payment via US postal order or I will accept a check but you will have to wait for it to clear.

I’m not going to go into a lot of details due to limited space. This is a NIB, Colt US Cavalry Commemorative set marking the 200th anniv of the US cav 1 consisting of two pistols and accoutrements. One pistol is serial No. 1525US, the other US1525. The set comes with all original paperwork for the guns, the original boxes, original foam packing material, the original shipping box, powder flask, bullet mold, cap tin, shoulder stock and walnut display case. This set was one of 3000 sets made in 1977. So, why buy this set as opposed to the others out there? I purchased this set on a whim in August of 1980. From that point on it has stayed, undisplayed, in its original shipping box. The velvet is uncrushed and everything is as it was when it left the factory. It has always been kept in a centrally heated/cooled environment, smoke and pet free home. It is the responsibility of the Buyer to ensure they comply with local and state ordinances regarding cap & ball guns. Should it be necessary, the set can be shipped to your FFL or C&R holder; any additional expense associated with this activity is to the buyer’s account. No returns unless the set is found to have been misrepresented (it isn’t). Payment via US postal order or I will accept a check but you will have to wait for it to clear. Shipping and insurance are extra and will be determined at the time of sale.

Shipping Notes: Shipping and insurance are extra and will be determined at the time of sale. In addition a $5 packing fee shall be charged.
