Accepted Payment Methods: Returns: No Returns Description: Here's a Browning Double Automatic 12 gauge shotgun,(27 1/2 inch barrel length) choked improved modified. This gun was manufactured in 1955 in Belgium.This is a first year production gun!!! The serial number is a 4 digit number preceded with the letter A indicating the lite weight aluminum receiver. Original butt plate very ornate with the Browning logo "double automatic". The wood and metal are very very nice with minor use blems on the stock as expected for an almost 70 year old shotgun but overall 92% or better. The receiver is known as the velvet gray model. The bore is spotless and the gun functions superbly. As indicated in the pictures provided the bottom left side of the receiver has numbers mildly etched and hardly noticable unless looking for them. All the original Browning proof marks are on the barrel. Shoots 2 3/4 inch 12 gauge shotgun shells only and is a delight to operate for skeet, sporting clays or upland bird hunting.
