Photo shows genuine factory issue Sig Sauer Magazines for the P-226 Pistol chambered in 9mm. These magazines will fit the smaller 228 and 229 pistols with some protrusion, but these are the exact same magazines that Sig Arms shipped with their new P226 pistols during the 1980s and 1990s, prior to the ban period that began in 1994. Parent Pistols were used by the Swiss State Police, and date codes to the parents ranged from JG, 1986, until KC, 1992. Construction is all steel, parkerized military finish, with matching steel floorplates and high impact black polymer followers. Capacity is 15 rounds of 9mm ammunition. Markings vary on the only eight specimens we have, shown in the photos. Some have no marking on their bodies, only P226 on their floorplates. A couple have only the word Sig-Sauer on the left side of their bodies; and another couple have Sig-Sauer / P226 on the body left side. All of them, most crucially, are dovetailed-back construction, as the photos show. These are authentic German Sig Sauer, then. Insertion and Ejection streaking is minimal to moderate, these are mechanically sound. We rate them as Very Good, and buyer will receive one or more magazines from the same batch as the photo specimens. Replacement pricing on these magazines in our area is upwards of $100 apiece, if a person can even find One. We’re offering the magazines in the photos, however, each for only $ 45.00.
