An outstanding example of a WWII vintage Ithaca 1911A1 .45acp made in 1943; has the proper F.J.A. (Frank J. Atwood) inspector stamp on left frame and the crossed cannons stamp on the right; barrel has the correct "HS" stamp on the right side lug and "P" stamp on the left. "P" stamp in front of rear sight; magazine has the "L" (Little) stamp on the lip; grips have the "K" mark in a five pointed star (Keyes Fibre Co.); very good, bright bore with strong rifling; excellent overall finish.
