The tradition of armory rebuilding was long established when Sig Arms began marketing their CPO handguns a decade ago, and photo shows the first Certified Pre Owned Sig P-229 pistols we got in 2008. All the CPOs are refurbished and inspected by competent factory armorers at Sig's facilities in Exeter, New Hampshire. The only detractions they show is slide contact evidence to the barrel surfaces, mostly from test firing, and frequently inconspicuous weakness to the slide lettering. All of them we've had will rate 95 percent or better, and the box label carries the correct words, Excellent Condition. Here is the factory's statement about their CPO program: These pre-owned Sig Sauer pistols have been Factory Certified after passing the Sig Sauer five point factory certification process. And no certified pre-owned Sig Sauer pistol leaves the factory without the approval of an expert Sig Sauer armourers. Before receiving its factory certified pre-owned status each pistol is stripped, refinished, refitted with original factory parts where needed, cleaned and lubricated, function tested and hand inspected by a certified Sig Sauer armourer. Each factory certified pre-owned Sig Sauer comes with a one year warranty from Sig Sauer. Action is traditional double action; from a rest position, double action on the first shot and characteristically crisp Sig single action on subsequent rounds. Sigs do not have or need a manually operated safety, the decocker lever puts the car in park to end any firing session. All CPO Sigs come with a total of two used but factory and factory inspected 12 shot magazines and a California Compliant gun lock. Sights come in a variety of configurations, usually white-bar rear, white-dot front Sig Contrast Sights like the photo specimen. This variant's alloy frame has an integral picatinny light rail, as the photos show. Replacement price on new P-229s in our area is upwards of $900, if a person can even find one. We're offering the CPO 229 in the photo, however, or one of its identical mates,for only $589.00. For civilian buyers in jurisdictions where 12 round magazines are restricted to law enforcement, we will substitute a 10 round factory or new Mec-Gar magazine, or $20 off and freight paid and no magazines.

Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
