Serial number range for these were 40,000 to 47,0000.(this is before the Nazi take over) This pistol is 4233X. The frame and slide numbers match, but the barrel number does not. The barrel is a WWII Waffenampt proofer(Nazi barrel) Type II with the number 911 with a letter that looks like a slanted 6;and an eagle is above the number. The proof mark on the barrel is WaA140.Overall condition is good with holster ware at the muzzle end of the slide. This info was taken from the latest Blue Book of Gun values. The barrel is bright with sharp rifling. The pistol has one magazine. Also comes with a Canadian wood stock holster with the markings S.A.L. TD. 1944 in very good condition.
