Manufacturer is Chrysler Motors. Body type is standard long wheel base van with elevated hard polymer roof extension. Engine is the original 318 V-8. We’ve never had to perform any repairs on the engine or transmission, other than recent replacement of the alternator by a competent local mechanic. We rate the body as Good, with some bends above the left rear wheel well where a tire frayed a few years back. We rate the paint at 85 percent. Doors operate well enough all around, with some pry marks on the rear entry and a sticky but serviceable double side door. Lift is adjustable, hitchy but never had a problem with it. We have hauled half ton passenger and power wheel chair combinations of more than 3 of our relatives. Interior is good, with exception of wear to the driver’s side arm rest area. Tie down slots are secure and strong. It still has its driver and forward passenger seat, shotgun rider seat, and two bench seats, capable of hauling up to 11 passengers including two wheelchairs. We have never had any trouble with leaks. We bought this van used from a Chicago estate in 2007. It had 58000 actual miles when we bought it, and mileage is now at only 63000. We had its air conditioner lines replaced in 2009. Heater works fine, but we have not used the air conditioning since 2012. Fuel capacity is 40 some odd gallons, single fill spout. Our mileage has ranged from 10 to 15 mpg, with mostly local use. On our only long trip to St. Louis in 2012, it got close to 16 mpg. Replacement pricing on a new Handicap Wheelchair Van this size will destroy $60,000.00. We’re offering the good old Chicagoland / Tennessee Dodge in the photos, however, for only $ 3850.00. Add $75.00 if you want it washed.
